POST TIME!

Its been a long time. Christmas has just been and with it comes a new round of games and such to review and bitch about. One game that will not feature in the "Oh god brain rape" category is the newest titlefrom the prodigous studio Infinity Ward, Modern warfare 2. I freaking LOVE infinity ward, they have yetr to make a game that isnt at least good, if not fucking FANTASTIC. The lateset installment is set five years on form modern warfare and without giving anything away, it is another hit. The story, while stupidly short, is engrossing and suitably epic, the enviroments and characters make the game believable as well as and the new weapons are futuristic without being retarded. The only problems with the game I have found are the short story and the lack of dedicated servers for multiplayer.

Im sure SandPeopl will havemore to add but Thats all i have time for for now, so buy this game, it is worth it and extremely enjoyable.

tipsOnHair Doo's

In regard to hair do's:
When considering hair do's one must consider hair not as a "hair", instead one must consider hair on a philosophical nature, because that is hairs nature.
To begin, hair must be tamed when young and supple. When the hairs collective will is chaotic and without order, to tame the hair before its unity becomes strong is imperative.
Once the voice of the hair has been broken it is now time to start thinking of the "do" your hair shall be crafted into. The model infrastructure your hair shall be moulded towards. This is when the nature of the hair must be harnessed into your creative universe. Hair is a fickle species and also self destructive, in essence hair is as paradoxical as us if not more. These paradox's are what one must build upon to create a monumental hair do. Hair must be complex as if each hair strand has an individual opinion and yet they are simple as if they strive in a common goal. Hair must look as if you've just woken up after a night of absolved memories, a sign for all the world to see that says "yeah I know my hairs like this but hey I don't even care", yet the hair must also be refined and obvious that hours of crafting magic in front of the mirror have been sunken into the do.

REMEMBER! that this do is a dangerous road. Stick to the path and pray to the do gods and you'll have a hair do that will rip the fabric of attention asunder. But should you stray from the path or plummet down one of the many pit falls that awaits you, you will have a smoking train wreck atop your head with one casualty, one giant casualty, which is you and your life. So heed the warning and embrace your creativity... but not too much.

forTheFuture

Saying I forgot totally about my rating system I've decided to make a new one. This one will also be totally unique in the world of a reviewests arsenal; it will be so horrifically specific no two movies will receive the same. That said this new rating system will have two purposes. The first is to deliver you the some emotions and shit that are supposed to help you decide if you should see the movie or not. I have no idea what the second purpose is but I have no idea how to achieve the first so I'll think about that later. One problem at a time.

mapTime

I was really bored one day so I created a map for a fantasy world that I may or may not use one day. I made it pretty indecipherable, probably so I can leave me options open for most of it but I like the shape. So have a good gape and enjoy. I might post some history on the map in the future, drawing a simple map I cannot do without a tedious and detailed history.

finallyFinished

I started this pic a long time ago for a snow board art competition. I restarted it a few times and got Tukoku to do some of the line work. But now months after I finally painted it. Enjoy avid readers.

A man knows

Speak the name and death will come. On the morrow, at the turn of the moon, a year from this day, it will come. A man does not fly like a bird, but one foot moves and then another and one day a man is there and a king dies.

ReviewPandorum

Pandorum is a sci fi horror. This genre is a little over populated but not populated well. Pandorum however is a shining diamond in a sea of writhing tigers.

And for those who enjoy a good scare but loathe the tension filled boring start that most horrors have you need not worry. Pandorum starts full of intrigue and mystery. The middle is well paced in such a way that you hardly notice the hour or so fly by. The end however is the master piece. When the final puzzle piece reveals the macabre mosaic you really do feel that you've been taken for an all inclusive ride.

I am a huge fan of sci fi, not so much for its track record of movies and more for its potential. I love seeing technology, realistic and fantastic alike. Pandorum is firmly on the realistic side of the tech with the few strays towards the fantastic saved for the most exciting concepts.

I am terribly afraid of giving too much away in this review so that it might ruin the winding maze of surprises in store, however i am equally afraid of not spending enough information leaving this review utterly useless. So before I topple over the cusp of revealment I will say Pandorum has heavy themes from other sci fi classics that have forged the genre ahead, that is not to say it is carbon copied and cobbled together. It feels more like a much needed refreshment of sci fi horror, starting where Advent Horizon and Alien left off.
So I say if you have any interest in sci fi or horror, you must treat yourself to this well crafted film. Its a great movie and will provoke a good talk on the ride home.

I'm excited to read about some up coming sequels. (Most are will smith movies)

"I am legend" - I was very much a fan of this film (although the ending was a little dissapointing)
But I'm excited to have come across this exert about a sequel: "Francis Lawrence had confirmed that there will be a prequel and that Will Smith will be reprising his role. Lawrence stated that this movie would reveal what happens to Neville before the infected take over New York. D. B. Weiss has been recruited to write the script, while Lawrence would direct. Smith stated the film would have Neville and his team going from New York City to Washington, D.C. and back again, as they made their last stand.[65] However, it has since been announced that after meeting with Warner Bros, the decision was made to change the direction of the film and make it into a sequel, with Smith and Weiss both still involved.[66] It is expected for a 2011 release." source wiki.

"Men In Black III" - Loved the first film, second was not as good but still a blockbuster. MIBIII isn't confirmed but....: "

In 2005, Variety magazine mentioned that Sony was in talks with director Michael Bay to direct Men In Black III. Will Smith has expressed interest in returning for a third film.[11]

In 2008, fresh new rumours have resurfaced regarding a Men In Black III after an interview with Walter Parkes. On September 28, 2008 Parkes told Magazine Personality Parade in an interview, "The challenge is getting the script right and finding a time when our busy stars are available." .... "Everyone, including Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, wants to do another." source wiki.

"I-Robot" - Great film, trippy cinematography and awesome FX, also not confirmed but: "
In an interview with the website Collider.com at a recent
Battlestar Galactica event, writer/producer Ronald Moore stated that he is writing the sequel to the film I, Robot." source wiki.

"Cloverfield" - Lets hope they show more of the monster this time? "At the premiere of the film, Matt Reeves talked about possibilities on how a sequel will turn out if the film succeeds.[68] According to Reeves, "While we were on set making the film we talked about the possibilities and directions of how a sequel can go. The fun of this movie was that it might not have been the only movie being made that night, there might be another movie! In today's day and age of people filming their lives on their camera phones and Handycams, uploading it to YouTube... That was kind of exciting thinking about that."[69]

In another interview, Reeves states:

There's a moment on the Brooklyn Bridge, and there was a guy filming something on the side of the bridge, and Hud sees him filming and he turns over and he sees the ship that's been capsized and sees the headless Statue of Liberty, and then he turns back and this guy's briefly filming him. In my mind that was two movies intersecting for a brief moment, and I thought there was something interesting in the idea that this incident happened and there are so many different points of view, and there are several different movies at least happening that evening and we just saw one piece of another.[27]

Reeves also points out that the end scene on Coney Island shows something falling into the ocean in the background (pointed out by fans to be in the far right from the view out of the ferris wheel, a bit left of a boat sitting in the water seen falling just as the camera beeps), but didn't give out details.[27] (This is, however, many days before the start of the film and shows the two main characters on Coney island before they meet again at the start of the party - as shown by the date stamp on the footage from the camera. This relates to how events began to happen and the satellite which falls from orbit owned by the Japanese media company mentioned).

Producers Bryan Burk and J. J. Abrams also announced their thoughts to Entertainment Weekly about possible sequel(s). According to Bryan Burk, "The creative team has fleshed out an entire backstory which, if we're lucky, we might get to explore in future films".[70]

Also, Abrams states that he does not want to rush into the development of the sequel right away because of the first film's success, instead he wants to create a sequel that is true to the previous film.[70]

At the end of January, Matt Reeves entered early talks with Paramount Pictures to direct a sequel to Cloverfield, which would likely be filmed before Reeves's other project, The Invisible Woman.[71] Reeves now said:

The idea of doing something so differently is exhilarating. We hope that it created a movie experience that is different. The thing about doing a sequel is that I think we all really feel protective of that experience. The key here will be if we can find something that is compelling enough and that is different enough for us to do, then it will probably be worth doing. Obviously it also depends on how Cloverfield does worldwide and all of those things too, but really, for us creatively, we just want to find something that would be another challenge.[72]

In an interview with IGN, J. J. Abrams stated that they are still in talks with Paramount. Abrams thought (in his opinion) that it would be fun to work on something different. Matt Reeves and Drew Goddard have drawn up different stories for the sequel, but Abrams is only considering the idea of continuing Cloverfield. Paramount is still trying to seal the deal for the sequel." source wiki.

"Transformers: revenge of the fallen" - Confiremed and in the making. I'm excited.

"Jurassic Park: IV" - In development.
